THE SEMI-PERMANENT
AFTER PARTY
Years: 2003 / 2004 / 2005 / 2006 / 2007 / 2008
Info: As the name suggests, the after party is an event where
everyone can have a few drinks and party after the conference.
Hosted at various venues over the years, the 2007 after party
held at MTV's Lair space was one of the most memorable with
old school hip-hop artists Arrested Development playing some
tunes. An awesome night.

CURVY
Years: 2004 / 2005 / 2006 / 2007 / 2008
Info: Run by the sexy YEN magazine team, Curvy is a showcase
of the best female artists plying their trade around the world.
Having been run for four years, Curvy is an exciting and very
popular part of the overall Semi-Permanent event, giving female
artists and designers a voice, a chance to show their work
amongst their peers.

KIDSTODAY
Year: 2008
Artists: Anthony Lister, Numskull, Ben Frost, LoveAriel,
Kareena Zerefos, Trent Whitehead, Beastman, and many more.
Info: Curated by the crew at Stupidkrap, the Kidstoday exhibition
was one of our biggest side exhibitions yet, with a couple
thousand people trying to cram themselves into the MTV gallery
space to check out the many amazing pieces of art on display.

SEMI-PERMANENT GRAFFITI & STREET ART EXHIBITION
Year: 2003
Artists: Banksy, Shepard Fairey, 123Klan, Dmote, Burn Crew and Perks & Mini.
Info: During the inaugural Semi-Permanent, we launched a large graffiti exhibition in an unused warehouse space in Alexandria, Sydney. We brought together artists from the United States, Europe & Australia to create original work onto the walls of the warehouse.

EVERYDAY
Year: 2006
Artists: Paul Pope, Antony Micallef, Linda Zacks, Anthony Yankovic, Anyhow, Tra Selhtrow, ABCK & Travis Millard.
Info: Organised by Design Is Kinky & Empty magazine, a series of exhibitions were held during the 2006 semi-Permanent events. Everyday showcased talented up and coming and established artists from around the world. The show was held in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
